We ship Mon-Thursday and some Fridays. Please know USPS and UPS often say "delivered" but it takes an additional day or two for the package to actually BE delivered --yes, it's annoying! We have to deal with this every single day, this is not in our control.
On US Federal Holidays no mail moves - you *may* see a label print, but it will leave the next mailing day.

Did you know we will send a return label to you for returning items? When people "refuse" a delivery, it costs us triple the original postage to claim the parcel back. PLEASE DO NOT do this! EMAIL US or call us so we can handle it. Our contact page is here.
PRE ORDERS ship as stated in the listing -- usually these take some time to arrive. IF YOU COMBINE in stock items with a preorder they will ship TOGETHER at one time. If you file a chargeback on a preorder I will ban you from my website for the rest of time. I've only had to do this once, but it is totally rediculous to make up a story about arrival times when it is NOT in my control. WE DO NOT HOLD BACK items- there is NO ROOM or time to do this. I've stayed until midnight shipping preorders because they arrive at 5pm, just to get them out the door. BE COOL or be banned for life.
We do NOT cover import fees or duties if shipping out of the USA. Tariffs/duties have NOTHING to do with our company, we have no control over them.

Returns are accepted for damaged items and we will send you a return label. Returns for any other reason are accepted within 14 days (30 days for international) at YOUR return shipping expense, and will be processed with a restocking fee of 10% to cover Shopify cc fees.

Moonglow Taupe Vinyl – Pebbled Faux Leather for Bag Making
Moonglow Taupe Vinyl is a matte, pebbled faux leather in warm taupe-bronze, made for sewing bags and accessories on a home sewing machine. Each piece is 18" x 54" and 0.7mm thick: soft and drapey like leather, yet sturdy enough for totes, crossbody bags, purses and pouches.
This taupe-bronze hue pairs beautifully with neutrals, warm prints and gold or bronze hardware. Watch a 1-minute video of this vinyl being sewn.

What size is each piece?
Each piece is 18" x 54" and 0.7mm thick, enough for a medium-to-large bag or several accessories.
Is Moonglow Taupe shiny?
No. Moonglow has a matte, pebbled finish with no sheen or glare, for a leather-like look.
Can I sew this on a home sewing machine?
Yes. Use a Microtex 80/12 needle and a 3mm stitch length. A regular presser foot works; you don't need a Teflon foot. Hold layers with clips instead of pins to avoid permanent holes.
Do I need interfacing?
It depends on your project. For structured bags, use Sew Hippie foam, Sew Hippie fusible foam, SHH Fusible Woven, leftover batting or fusible fleece. For a slouchy style, you can skip interfacing entirely.
Is this vinyl sticky or adhesive-backed?
No. It's a non-adhesive faux leather vinyl designed for sewing, not sticking.
Can I iron this vinyl?
Press from the wrong side, or protect the front with a Teflon pressing sheet. Never touch a hot iron directly to the front of the vinyl.
How do I care for it?
Machine wash on cool.
What zipper goes with Moonglow Taupe?
Our Strawberry Mocha #5 zipper tape with bronze teeth is a warm, coordinating match.
What patterns work well with Moonglow Taupe?
Any Sew Hungry Hippie vinyl-compatible pattern works. The Santorini Tote is a fan favorite, and the Madison, Arlo, Andy and Donovan bags are all excellent choices too.

You need a roll of vinyl - there will be a little left over. :)
