Hello! We ship everyday. On US Federal Holidays no mail moves - you *may* see a label print, but it will leave the next mailing day.
Here is our detailed shipping policy.
Please keep shipping insurance (Package Protection) in your cart. If you take it out, you will have to file your own claim with USPS or UPS.
PRE ORDERS ship as stated in the listing -- usually these take some time to arrive. IF YOU COMBINE in stock items with a preorder they will ship TOGETHER at one time.
We do NOT cover import fees or duties if shipping out of the USA. Tariffs/duties have NOTHING to do with our company, we have no control over them.

Returns are accepted for damaged items and we will send you a return label. Returns for any other reason are accepted within 14 days at YOUR return shipping expense, and will be processed with a restocking fee of 10% to cover Shopify cc fees.

The Andy Bag is a dream for Sew Hungry Hippie vinyl and cork lovers, with a soft quilting cotton lining and minimal interfacing—perfect for confident beginners! Advanced sewists can get creative by adding extra zipper pockets or customizing the inside, but most importantly, have fun with it!
Finished Size: 11 1/2"W x 9"H x 5"D
This bag features a large zipper pocket on the front (lined), an ample gusset for lots of storage, slip-in pockets throughout, and an adjustable strap. My video course will walk you through making this bag step-by-step (find it here!).
While the zipper pocket is similar to the Madison Bag, Madison does not have a gusset, and the end shape is very different. We construct the pockets differently as well.
Andy is a boxier bag for those that need lots of room, and appreciate a bag sitting upright when placed on a surface.

Sew Hungry Hippie Vinyl 18” x 52”
Lining Quilting Cotton 1 YD
SF101 or equivalent 1-2 YDS depending on width
1¼” Sew Hungry Hippie Hardware Pack in preferred color (2 D-rings, 2 swivels, 1 slider)
30” size 5 zipper tape + 2 pulls
Metal Zipper Ends x 2
Corners, Curves, & Rivets Template
Double Sided Sticky Tape
Nylon Mallet
Optional: rivets x 2
You will want to have your Teflon non-stick sewing foot handy, a Teflon pressing sheet, Chrome Microtex needles, a Nylon Mallet, Double Sided Sticky Tape, an iron, and the Easy Point & Press tool.
