Returns

I want you to be happy! I stand by my products, it is always worth an email if you have an issue. 

Returns accepted within 7 days of receiving for unused items in original condition. Please email help@sewhungryhippie.com with "return" in the subject line. Return labels are sent for easy print and drop. If you simply  "changed your mind" on a product, you pay for the return shipment. This is a small family business, thank you for understanding we are not a huge corporation able to absorb extra costs regarding shipping.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Exemptions include custom cuts of fabric or any product that is custom/ special request. No refunds on these items. 

Additional non-returnable items:

• Gift cards
• Downloadable software products such as PDF patterns or digital courses.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted due to a restocking fee and shipping charges. If your original order qualified for free shipping, and you request a return that brings you under the $100 threshold, we will minus the original shipping label cost + 10% restocking fee from your return. 

Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error will not be refunded.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected and approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 7 business days.

Late or missing refunds
1. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account and spam/junk email folders.

2. If nothing is there, contact us at help@sewhungryhippie.com

3. Know it does take some credit card companies 30 days to post a refund. This is not in our control.

Exchanges can be made at your shipping cost expense. Exchanges in person on open shop days works too.

We replace items if they are defective or damaged.

When you purchase a subscription, you will receive regular deliveries based on the duration and frequency you select. Your payment information will be securely stored, and you will be charged for each delivery unless you opt to pay in advance. Please note that some subscriptions may automatically renew at the end of their term. If you prefer not to renew, you have the option to cancel your subscription. You can modify or cancel your subscription at any time. Your order confirmation emails will include links to manage your order.
