Hello! We ship everyday. On US Federal Holidays no mail moves - you *may* see a label print, but it will leave the next mailing day.
Here is our detailed shipping policy.
Please keep shipping insurance (Package Protection) in your cart. If you take it out, you will have to file your own claim with USPS or UPS.
PRE ORDERS ship as stated in the listing -- usually these take some time to arrive. IF YOU COMBINE in stock items with a preorder they will ship TOGETHER at one time.
We do NOT cover import fees or duties if shipping out of the USA. Tariffs/duties have NOTHING to do with our company, we have no control over them.

Returns are accepted for damaged items and we will send you a return label. Returns for any other reason are accepted within 14 days (30 days for international) at YOUR return shipping expense, and will be processed with a restocking fee of 10% to cover Shopify cc fees.

Dark Gray Moonglow Vinyl – Pebbled Faux Leather for Bag Making
Dark Gray Moonglow Vinyl is a matte, pebbled faux leather in deep charcoal gray, made for sewing bags and accessories on a home sewing machine. Each piece is 18" x 54" and 0.7mm thick: soft and drapey like leather, yet sturdy enough for totes, crossbody bags, purses and pouches.

What size is each piece?
Each piece is 18" x 54" and 0.7mm thick, enough for a medium-to-large bag or several accessories.
Is Dark Gray Moonglow shiny?
No. Moonglow has a matte, pebbled finish with no sheen or glare, for a leather-like look.
Can I sew this on a home sewing machine?
Yes. Use a Microtex 80/12 needle and a 3mm stitch length. A regular presser foot works; you don't need a Teflon foot. Hold layers with clips instead of pins to avoid permanent holes.
Do I need interfacing?
It depends on your project. For structured bags, use Sew Hippie foam, Sew Hippie fusible foam, SHH Fusible Woven, leftover batting or fusible fleece. For a slouchy style, you can skip interfacing entirely.
Is this vinyl sticky or adhesive-backed?
No. It's a non-adhesive faux leather vinyl designed for sewing, not sticking.
Can I iron this vinyl?
Press from the wrong side, or protect the front with a Teflon pressing sheet. Never touch a hot iron directly to the front of the vinyl.
How do I care for it?
Machine wash on cool.
What patterns work well with Dark Gray Moonglow?
Any Sew Hungry Hippie vinyl-compatible pattern works. The Santorini Tote is a fan favorite, and the Madison, Arlo, Andy and Donovan bags are all excellent choices too.
