Meet Soft Vinyl in Fuchsia Purple — a luxuriously soft vinyl with a stunning metallic shimmer finish. This vibrant purple-y fuchsia hue catches the light beautifully, giving your projects an elevated, eye-catching edge.

Unlike stiff traditional vinyl, this soft vinyl has a brushed woven backing that makes it a dream to sew — no slipping, no sticking, and no special presser foot required (though a Teflon or walking foot works great too).

Product Details

  • Cut Size: 18" x 56" per piece (note: selvage edge ranges from 2–4")
  • Finish: Metallic shimmer, soft non-sticky feel
  • Backing: Brushed woven fabric backing
  • Care: Machine wash and dry on cool settings
  • Needle: Microtex 80/12
  • Sews easily with a normal sewing foot, walking foot, or Teflon foot
  • Iron from the wrong side, or use a Teflon pressing sheet on the front — always test first
  • No pins needed; use clips
  • YES you can wash and dry this on cool
  • YES you can iron this from the wrong side, or on the front side with a Teflon Pressing Sheet

Do I need interfacing?
It depends on your project. For structured bags, interface with Sew Hippie foam, Sew Hippie fusible foam, SHH Fusible Woven, left over batting, or fusible fleece. For a slouchy style, you can skip it entirely.
