Shipping & Returns

Hello! We ship everday and some Saturdays. On US Federal Holidays no mail moves - you *may* see a label print, but it will leave the next mailing day. If we take a short break for vacation, it is announced ahead of time on all social media channels and in the newsletter. Are you signed up for my emails? They often contain treasures!  

Please keep shipping insurance (Package Protection) in your cart. If you take it out, you will have to file your own claim with USPS or UPS. While mistakes with the Carriers are rare, they do happen and it's best to have full coverage.

PRE ORDERS ship as stated in the listing -- usually these take some time to arrive. IF YOU COMBINE in stock items with a preorder they will ship TOGETHER at one time. Make a separate order if you need in-stock items sooner. Thanks!!

We DO ship to Canada & most other European countries, also Australia and New Zealand through USPS or UPS if you choose it. We do NOT cover import fees. 

Tracking info is ALWAYS sent by email as soon as the label is printed. Check your junk or promotions folders; it could have landed in one of them. After the initial tracking entry when the label is printed, additional tracking updates are provided by the carrier. Follow the tracking link you received by email to check the status on the carrier's site.
Free shipping is offered for domestic customers, on orders over $125.

Our mail system is pretty amazing when compared to the rest of the world and we are so grateful to the Carriers that make it happen! 

Vinyl is usually rolled and either wrapped in tissue or a protective bag, and sent that way. Some vinyl (soft metallic and moonglow for example) can be folded without causing damage, you can opt to iron it from the back side as well.  In any case, if your vinyl arrives with wrinkles you can simply place it in the sunshine OR use a hair dryer to warm it flat again, or iron it (wrong side only). If you think your vinyl is damaged, please email me and I will take care of you. 😊

**Soft metallic vinyl, Stardust, croc, and Moonglow vinyl CAN be ironed from the wrong side. See my Guide for Sewing Vinyl for more info.

Product Description

Gunmetal soft vinyl - behaves like fabric, easy to sew! Iron from the wrong side, wash and dry on cool temps.

Luxuriously soft faux leather in a metallic / crackle style finish, perfect for sewing. This 'vinyl" is a soft fabric with brushed woven backing for easy sewing. It can be washed and dried on cool settings in your machine, so projects made with it can be easily cared for and last ages. 

Pieces are sold as 18" x 56"  note there is a selvage edge ranging from 2-4"

-Use a Universal needle size 80/12

-Easily sews with a Universal sewing foot, walking foot, or a Teflon foot.

-Soft, non-sticky feel. A shiny metallic finish gives an edge and pop to your projects.

-Iron from the WS, or use a pressing Teflon baking sheet from the front side. Always test first. 

-Use for bag making, embroidery in hoop projects, crafts, and even garments that hold body.

Press to the Dark Side

I love these soft vinyls, even though I'm not sure how to stabilize them for handbags. But I have to caution you on this product. It is so much darker than the photos. The photos look like a taupe or dark silver, but this vinyl is almost black. I would call it a charcoal. It didn't work with the project I bought it for, but it will happily find a place in a project with a darker side. 5 stars! Beautiful product.

Great Color

I absolutely love the soft vinyls! Must admit that I was not inspired with the gunmetal on the site but after seeing one of Natalie's Sesh's where she used the gunmetal, I was sold. What a gorgeous color with the little undertones. It goes with everything and I really like the fact that it is not stark black or charcoal. I highly recommend this soft vinyl and especially in the gunmetal. It is so much more attractive than in the picture and I know you will be pleased.

DELICOUS VINYL, but don't taste it. lol
