Hello! We ship everyday. On US Federal Holidays no mail moves - you *may* see a label print, but it will leave the next mailing day.
Here is our detailed shipping policy.
Please keep shipping insurance (Package Protection) in your cart. If you take it out, you will have to file your own claim with USPS or UPS.
PRE ORDERS ship as stated in the listing -- usually these take some time to arrive. IF YOU COMBINE in stock items with a preorder they will ship TOGETHER at one time.
We do NOT cover import fees or duties if shipping out of the USA. Tariffs/duties have NOTHING to do with our company, we have no control over them.

Returns are accepted for damaged items and we will send you a return label. Returns for any other reason are accepted within 14 days (30 days for international) at YOUR return shipping expense, and will be processed with a restocking fee of 10% to cover Shopify cc fees.

Sewing & Pressing Tips
- Use a regular sewing foot, walking foot or Teflon foot.
- Choose a Microtex 80/12 needle.
- Hold pieces together with bag-making clips instead of pins.
- Press from the wrong side, or protect the front with a Teflon pressing sheet. Always test first, and never touch a hot iron directly to the vinyl's metallic surface.

What size is each piece?
Each piece measures 18" x 56", with a selvage edge ranging from 2–4".
Do I need interfacing for bag making?
It depends on your pattern and the finish you want. For structured bags, options include Sew Hippie foam, Sew Hippie fusible foam, SHH Fusible Woven, leftover batting or fusible fleece. For a slouchier style, you can skip interfacing.
Do I need a special presser foot?
No. Deep Space can be sewn with a regular presser foot. A walking foot or Teflon foot also works well.
Is the backing sticky?
No. The brushed woven backing is soft and non-sticky.
Can I use Deep Space vinyl for garments?
Yes. Its soft backing and flexible hand make it an option for shaped garments and statement pieces.
Can I wash and press this vinyl?
Yes. Machine wash and dry on cool settings. When pressing, work from the wrong side or use a Teflon pressing sheet on the front. Always test first and keep a hot iron from touching the metallic surface directly.
Really nice to work with. Used Bondded Nylon for a zip pocket, and a cotton fabric for lining. Beautiful colors ❣️ Can't wait to gift the cosmetic bag to great granddaughter. Now I have to make one for me 😁
This soft vinyl goes with so many of Natalie’s fabrics and other vinyls. I have several rolls of it in my stash it is delightful! It quilts so easily and nicely. Love it Natalie!

I have never worked with this type of vinyl. It is much softer than I expected. It really is similar to a shiny fabric rather than a vinyl. I have plans to make the SHH Witchy Hat.

When I saw Natalie's "Sesh" on the quilted pouch using this vinyl, I knew I had to make it. I have recently gotten back into sewing and the quilting was easy but I was a little nervous about the zipper, but I took it slow and it was perfect. My only regret is that I gave it away as a gift and did not take a picture. Next time. It was so easy to work with and I have ordered more of the soft vinyl and absolutely love the colors and texture. Worth every penny.
I have never been a fan of iridescent colors nor do I enjoy using vinyl but this soft vinyl has changed my perspective! This fabric has such wonderful tactile features...you have to see it, feel it, and experience it to fully recognize its beauty, adaptability, and ease of use. I was surprisingly satisfied with this product!
