Hello! We ship everyday. On US Federal Holidays no mail moves - you *may* see a label print, but it will leave the next mailing day.

Here is our detailed shipping policy.

Please keep shipping insurance (Package Protection) in your cart. If you take it out, you will have to file your own claim with USPS or UPS. 

PRE ORDERS ship as stated in the listing -- usually these take some time to arrive. IF YOU COMBINE in stock items with a preorder they will ship TOGETHER at one time. 

We do NOT cover import fees or duties if shipping out of the USA. Tariffs/duties have NOTHING to do with our company, we have no control over them. 

Tracking info is ALWAYS sent by email as soon as the label is printed. Check your junk or promotions folders; it could have landed in one of them. 

Free shipping is offered for domestic customers, on orders over $125. This is a ONE TIME ORDER offer.

Sewing Tips:

  • Needle: Use Microtex or Universal size 80/12
  • Foot: Sews easily with normal sewing foot, walking foot, or Teflon foot
  • Pressing: Iron from wrong side, or use Teflon pressing sheet on right side (always test first)
  • No special techniques required - sews just like fabric!

Soft Black Vinyl is the best!

Sew Hungry Hippie’s soft vinyls, no matter the color, are very easy to sew! You can iron it from the backside and no special presser foot is required. The black soft vinyl is my favorite because it can be dressed up or dressed down. I have been using it in bags with some vintage fabrics and it looks amazing and don’t get me started about a Betty Bow Bag in black soft vinyl!

Love This Vinyl

I grabbed this once it came back into stock. Cannot get enough! I use it for so many projects and they all look beautiful with the soft vinyls especially when mixed or used as an accent with other fabrics. I do love it as a bag lining! If you have not tried soft vinyl inside the bag, try it. I am sure you will love it too. Soft vinyl sews up easily on a domestic machine and is a great buy through SHH!
