This PDF download sewing pattern will guide you through making the adorable Snappy Pocket Case!
A sweet little carrying case small enough to fit in your purse to keep things in order. This is a great place to start sewing with vinyl. I have numerous free tutorials on my blog if you're brand new to sewing vinyl! In this pattern I have links to take you there, as well as vinyl sewing tips. You can also substitute quilting cotton for the vinyl portion if you choose to. ;)
This pattern is super quick to whip up, so it's perfect as Teacher gifts or stocking stuffers!
Case measures approx 5" x 5.5" when folded over and snapped.
You will need: 1 FQ fabric OR 2 fat eighths if using a coordinating fabric on the inside; one 11" x 3.5" piece vinyl (10 or 20 gauge), one 10" zipper, scraps of Sf101 interfacing and fusible fleece (or batting).
Zipper foot and a teflon (non stick) sewing foot are very helpful. Snap closure is optional, I link to my Snap Press tutorial in the pattern.
This is an original Sew HungryHippie pattern, written with clear instructions and step by step photos to guide you along the way.
