Shipping & Returns

Hello! We ship everyday. On US Federal Holidays no mail moves - you *may* see a label print, but it will leave the next mailing day.

Here is our detailed shipping policy.

Please keep shipping insurance (Package Protection) in your cart. If you take it out, you will have to file your own claim with USPS or UPS.

PRE ORDERS ship as stated in the listing -- usually these take some time to arrive. IF YOU COMBINE in stock items with a preorder they will ship TOGETHER at one time.

We do NOT cover import fees or duties if shipping out of the USA. Tariffs/duties have NOTHING to do with our company, we have no control over them.

Tracking info is ALWAYS sent by email as soon as the label is printed. Check your junk or promotions folders; it could have landed in one of them.

Free shipping is offered for domestic customers, on orders over $125. This is a ONE TIME ORDER offer.

If we made a mistake on your order OR if something arrives damaged, email us so we can fix it. The Sew Hungryhippie team strives for perfect but we are humans & are training new employees... Thank you for your grace.  help@sewhungryhippie.com

Returns are accepted for damaged items and we will send you a return label. Returns for any other reason are accepted within 14 days (30 days for international) at YOUR return shipping expense, and will be processed with a restocking fee of 10% to cover Shopify cc fees.

Thank you for supporting my small business! YOU have made a huge difference in my family's life and I think about it every single day.

Great support

Very grateful for the support and encouragement from staff. They patiently answered my many questions, gave me greater suggestions, and engaging outraged me to believe I can do it!

The Kai!

Kai 45mm. This is an amazing rotary cutter! It took me a minute to get used to the pressure needed to make the cut and that it self-retracts. Now I’m finding that I reach for it each time that I need to cut. I haven’t installed my replacement blade yet but I’m glad I have it.

Great rotary cutter!!

I dislocated my shoulder and fractured my arm two months ago, and tried this left/right rotary cutter. It’s works for both hands and now I’m able to cut out my own projects. It is a wonderful tool even without an injury and I suspect using both hands for cutting will decrease repetitive motion problems. Wish I had bought one sooner!

Self retracting rotary cutter

I have used Kai pressure cutters for a long time. I like this one better. The locking mechanism is sew much better. I love it.

Safety first!

This took me a minute to get used to, but I now love it. No more worrying about an open blade lying around. The second you let go it just closes. Nothing to squeeze to keep it working, this is an excellent design!
