Hello! We ship everyday. On US Federal Holidays no mail moves - you *may* see a label print, but it will leave the next mailing day.

Here is our detailed shipping policy.

Please keep shipping insurance (Package Protection) in your cart. If you take it out, you will have to file your own claim with USPS or UPS. 

PRE ORDERS ship as stated in the listing -- usually these take some time to arrive. IF YOU COMBINE in stock items with a preorder they will ship TOGETHER at one time. 

We do NOT cover import fees or duties if shipping out of the USA. Tariffs/duties have NOTHING to do with our company, we have no control over them. 

Tracking info is ALWAYS sent by email as soon as the label is printed. Check your junk or promotions folders; it could have landed in one of them. 

Free shipping is offered for domestic customers, on orders over $125. This is a ONE TIME ORDER offer.

Returns are accepted for damaged items and we will send you a return label. Returns for any other reason are accepted within 14 days (30 days for international) at YOUR return shipping expense, and will be processed with a restocking fee of 10% to cover Shopify cc fees.

Joplin Carpet Bag Printed Sewing Pattern

Bring a vintage-inspired classic to life with the Joplin Carpet Bag! This printed PDF pattern includes tiled pattern pieces ready to tile and tape together, plus a link to a full video tutorial so you can sew along with confidence.

Beginner-friendly and endlessly customizable — use quilting cotton, Shannon Fabrics Quilting Cuddle, or any fabric you love. The most challenging step is inserting the pins into the tubular frame (a mallet makes it easy!).

Finished Dimensions

  • 18" W × 15" H × 7" D (approximate)

Materials & Hardware Required

  • 16" Tubular Frame (1)
  • Exterior fabric — 1 yard (Shannon Quilting Cuddle shown in video)
  • Quilting cotton lining — 1 yard + 8" × 36" for pockets
  • Natalie Interfacing, SF101 or Callie Del equivalent interfacing — 2 yards
  • 2" wide jacquard webbing — 90" total length
  • Stretch Needle 90/14 (required if using Quilting Cuddle)

Helpful Tools

  • Rotary cutter & cutting mat
  • Sewing stiletto, pins or clips
  • Teflon pressing sheet
  • Walking foot (recommended for Cuddle fabric)
  • Fray Check for raw webbing edges
