Hello! We ship everyday. On US Federal Holidays no mail moves - you *may* see a label print, but it will leave the next mailing day.
Here is our detailed shipping policy.
Please keep shipping insurance (Package Protection) in your cart. If you take it out, you will have to file your own claim with USPS or UPS.
PRE ORDERS ship as stated in the listing -- usually these take some time to arrive. IF YOU COMBINE in stock items with a preorder they will ship TOGETHER at one time.
We do NOT cover import fees or duties if shipping out of the USA. Tariffs/duties have NOTHING to do with our company, we have no control over them.

Returns are accepted for damaged items and we will send you a return label. Returns for any other reason are accepted within 14 days (30 days for international) at YOUR return shipping expense, and will be processed with a restocking fee of 10% to cover Shopify cc fees.

Sew a durable, reusable lunch carrier with the Jefferson Bag PDF sewing pattern from Sew Hungry Hippie. This small-to-medium double-pocket bag is designed for carrying lunches and snacks to work, but its versatile shape also works as a handbag or everyday carry-all.
Made with Sew Hungry Hippie Bonded Nylon, the Jefferson Bag handles everyday spills well, especially when Bonded Nylon is used for both the exterior and interior. The finished bag has a practical zippered closure and plenty of room without feeling bulky.

Approximately 10.5 in. wide × 10 in. high × 4.5 in. deep.
Materials needed
- 36 × 28 in. of Sew Hungry Hippie Bonded Nylon
- 18 in. of #5 zipper tape and 2 zipper pulls
- Double-sided sticky tape for easier zipper insertion and strap assembly
- Optional: Olfa 505 Temporary Adhesive Spray for managing layers
- Two 9 × 12 in. sheets or 1 yard of Steam-A-Seam Lite 2
- 1 yard of fusible woven interfacing
- 18 × 30 in. of foam interfacing
- One package of Wright’s Extra Wide Double Fold Binding or 2.5 yards of fold-over elastic
