Hello! We ship everyday. On US Federal Holidays no mail moves - you *may* see a label print, but it will leave the next mailing day.

Here is our detailed shipping policy.

Please keep shipping insurance (Package Protection) in your cart. If you take it out, you will have to file your own claim with USPS or UPS. 

PRE ORDERS ship as stated in the listing -- usually these take some time to arrive. IF YOU COMBINE in stock items with a preorder they will ship TOGETHER at one time. 

We do NOT cover import fees or duties if shipping out of the USA. Tariffs/duties have NOTHING to do with our company, we have no control over them. 

Tracking info is ALWAYS sent by email as soon as the label is printed. Check your junk or promotions folders; it could have landed in one of them. 

Free shipping is offered for domestic customers, on orders over $125. This is a ONE TIME ORDER offer.

Returns are accepted for damaged items and we will send you a return label. Returns for any other reason are accepted within 14 days (30 days for international) at YOUR return shipping expense, and will be processed with a restocking fee of 10% to cover Shopify cc fees.

All sales are donated to food pantries across the United States. In 2025 we donated to the LA Food Bank, the Methodist Church in the Hill Country in Texas, and locally in Wisconsin.

Fabric Requirements

  • Main fabric squares: approx. 2.5 yards total (stash scraps)
  • Sashing/border stripe: 1.25 yds is enough non-directionally if piecing the left and bottom borders

Following pattern measurements, What was the finished size of the quilt. Yes, I know, it can be made to any size.... The sample shows 6 squares w/border, but we're to cut 64 of them. So, is this just the quilt top, or the backing too?

If you make it per instructions it will be 81.5" tall x 81.5" wide.The last graphic illustration is just 36 squares -- for demonstration clarity. If you make it 6 across and 6 tall like the graphic, it will measure 61.5" x 61.5" and you'll cut just 36 squares.
