UPDATED PATTERN 7/2021 (New diagrams, updated instructions, better graphics.)

Essential Oils case PDF instant download sewing pattern.

Includes pattern pieces AND measurements (so if you don't have a printer you can just cut the pieces to size).

This travel case allows you to carry your oils without fear of breaking the glass containers they come in. This case can hold up to eight 15 ml bottles or sixteen roller ball bottles (2 in each pocket).

Each pocket slot has cushioning, and the case has a layer of soft insulation as well. Leave out the pockets if you want a SIMPLE zipper case in a flash!

Materials needed: 3 fat quarters of coordinating fabrics, fusible interfacing such as Craft Fuse 808 by Pellon, and fusible fleece or batting (use scraps from previous projects or buy a graft pack at Joann Fabrics), and a zipper-at least 8" in length. A longer zipper is fine, we cut to size in the pattern.

Pattern is written for the confident beginner, zipper installation uses a zipper foot but can be sewn with a regular foot. This pattern has been tested by sewers of varying skill levels.

Just what i was looking for.

The pattern was just what i was looking for! I got the essential oil case right the first time round. It was quite simple although i was a little bit confused about the batting on the lining. I thought it was a little bit too small and I couldn’t catch it when sewing the zip. I adjusted it with my next one and it was perfect! I’ve got a few more in the works i plan to give away as gifts.

Oil Case

Have read all instructions. Have not had time to actually see it yet, but the instructions are very clear. I love how they are laid out with the accompanying photos and can't wait to get started!!!

I’ve been wanting to make an essential oil...

I’ve been wanting to make an essential oil pouch for so long but wasn’t sure which pattern to choose and was intimidated by having to sew a zipper, but after watching the video to go along with this pattern on YouTube I was sold! pattern is easy to follow and the video is so helpful. I tackled the zipper and love how my pouch turned out!

I made this for a friend who loves essential oils. She loves it, I love it! Clever to offset the bottle holder slots. My only regret is that I couldn’t wait for the a tassel to arrive to bling it up!
