Shipping & Returns

Hello! We ship everyday. On US Federal Holidays no mail moves - you *may* see a label print, but it will leave the next mailing day.

Here is our detailed shipping policy.

Please keep shipping insurance (Package Protection) in your cart. If you take it out, you will have to file your own claim with USPS or UPS.

PRE ORDERS ship as stated in the listing -- usually these take some time to arrive. IF YOU COMBINE in stock items with a preorder they will ship TOGETHER at one time.

We do NOT cover import fees or duties if shipping out of the USA. Tariffs/duties have NOTHING to do with our company, we have no control over them.

Tracking info is ALWAYS sent by email as soon as the label is printed. Check your junk or promotions folders; it could have landed in one of them.

Free shipping is offered for domestic customers, on orders over $125. This is a ONE TIME ORDER offer.

If we made a mistake on your order OR if something arrives damaged, email us so we can fix it. The Sew Hungryhippie team strives for perfect but we are humans & are training new employees... Thank you for your grace.  help@sewhungryhippie.com

Returns are accepted for damaged items and we will send you a return label. Returns for any other reason are accepted within 14 days (30 days for international) at YOUR return shipping expense, and will be processed with a restocking fee of 10% to cover Shopify cc fees.

Thank you for supporting my small business! YOU have made a huge difference in my family's life and I think about it every single day.

Quick and fun to sew

This pattern is a quick and fun sew! You can use this pouch for a variety of things, such as nail polishes. You can omit the pockets and use this as a pouch inside your purse for smaller items to keep you organized. This would be great to make for craft markets.

Love the Essential Oils bag!

I thoroughly enjoyed making this bag. I used cork for exterior and cotton lining with fleece interfacing. It was stiff to turn the bag but little by little she turned. Looking forward to taking this bag on my cruise next month. A jiffy to make too!!

Just what i was looking for.

The pattern was just what i was looking for! I got the essential oil case right the first time round. It was quite simple although i was a little bit confused about the batting on the lining. I thought it was a little bit too small and I couldn’t catch it when sewing the zip. I adjusted it with my next one and it was perfect! I’ve got a few more in the works i plan to give away as gifts.

I’ve been wanting to make an essential oil pouch for so long but wasn’t sure which pattern to choose and was intimidated by having to sew a zipper, but after watching the video to go along with this pattern on YouTube I was sold! pattern is easy to follow and the video is so helpful. I tackled the zipper and love how my pouch turned out!

I made this for a friend who loves essential oils. She loves it, I love it! Clever to offset the bottle holder slots. My only regret is that I couldn’t wait for the a tassel to arrive to bling it up!

Very cute. And easy to follow with the video that they sent me. I don't follow paper instructions well. But that with the video made this super easy and fun to make! Definitely recommend. I ended up doing less pockets to fit my bracelets. And roller bottles. Turned out very cute.

I made 4 of these bags yesterday and I feel there are a couple flaws in the instructions that I wish I would've known about before completing all 4 bags for gifts. First, she says you can use batting OR fusible fleece. She instructed the batting be ironed saying, “It won't stick as well, but it will help keep it in place somewhat.” I used batting for the lining and the top part is not attached/secured inside of the layers of the completed bag and it gets folded up inside. I anticipate that will be a big problem after washing the bags, with the batting getting bunched up. I wish I would've secured it. The second problem is the bottles can jiggle out the pockets while traveling. The bag should be shorter to prevent the bottles from slipping out.
