Hello! We ship everyday. On US Federal Holidays no mail moves - you *may* see a label print, but it will leave the next mailing day.

Here is our detailed shipping policy.

Please keep shipping insurance (Package Protection) in your cart. If you take it out, you will have to file your own claim with USPS or UPS. 

PRE ORDERS ship as stated in the listing -- usually these take some time to arrive. IF YOU COMBINE in stock items with a preorder they will ship TOGETHER at one time. 

We do NOT cover import fees or duties if shipping out of the USA. Tariffs/duties have NOTHING to do with our company, we have no control over them. 

Tracking info is ALWAYS sent by email as soon as the label is printed. Check your junk or promotions folders; it could have landed in one of them. 

Free shipping is offered for domestic customers, on orders over $125. This is a ONE TIME ORDER offer.

The Bliss is a zippered yoga mat bag sewing pattern designed for standard yoga mats (½" thick or less). It features a large main body zipper, two exterior zipper pockets, optional closed ends, and an optional vinyl add-on for the circle top. Three construction versions let you choose your level of detail. Full-color photos, step-by-step directions, diagrams, and digital illustrations are included throughout.

  • SF101 woven interfacing — 2½ yds
  • Fusible fleece or foam interfacing — 1 yd
  • D-rings — 1½" × 2
  • Adjustable buckle — 1½" × 1 (optional)
  • Extra-wide double-fold bias tape — 1 package (or make your own from 2" bias strips, or substitute 1¼" cotton webbing for the strap)
  • Optional: 10–20 gauge vinyl for circle top piece

Helpful tools: walking foot, zipper foot, Teflon foot (for vinyl top), denim needle (size 90), turning tool, Wonder Clips.

Great pattern

I bought this pattern not to make a yoga mat bag, but my sister wanted me to make a bag to carry her bamboo flute in. I knew I could follow a pattern by Natalie - because she her patterns are very easy to understand and make sense to me. Anyway I made it 5 inches longer and 2 inches less on the ends and it was exactly what she wanted!!! I added two layers of fleece interfacing for extra protection. She loved it so much that I forgot to take a pic of it.!! I always trust that SHH patterns will be good.

Would this pattern be easy to modify for a longer bag? I need to fit martial art sticks that are 28" long.

Yes just make the length longer - instead of 26" you can make it 30-32" or something like that.
