Upcycled Corduroy Pants into Zipper Pouch - Sewing Experiments!

Upcycled Corduroy Pants into Zipper Pouch - Sewing Experiments!

In this video I'm experimenting with upcycling a pair of old corduroy pants into a brand new zipper pouch! Watch the video here on YouTube.

The whole point of this video is to encourage YOU to take risks, explore, and push yourself in sewing. It is an inside view into how I sew and developed patterns, because it always involves pushing limits and boundaries.

Mistakes are part of the process, don't be afraid of them!

Pouch measurements (approximately):
Main Body 11" wide x 8" tall
Zipper 10" long
Foam pieces are sewn to the main body first, then trimmed. (Yes I like foam in my seam allowances in most cases.)
You can box the bottom corners if you want this to stand up. I would do 1" or 1.25" boxed corners.

Corduroy pants from Goodwill Thrifting, $6.45
