October 1st is here and so is a NEW Hippie Makers Club Project!

October Hippie Makers Club: The Final Countdown Begins

This is it—just 3 months remain in the Hippie Makers Club, and then we're wrapping up this chapter. Please don't be upset; we have so much goodness planned for you in 2027.

Welcome to October's Featured Project

After months of planning, we're thrilled to kick off your favorite season with a fantastic new design. This month features Kim Azcona Castaneda and her pattern Kizz my Az—a clever play on her name. While it shares a similar aesthetic with Lip Shady, this is a distinct pattern with a different size and multiple wearing options.

Your October project is a versatile larger wristlet that can also be styled as a cross-body bag or bum bag if you add longer strapping. You'll receive everything needed to complete the WRISTLET option, plus Rom and I filmed a complete video tutorial for you.

What's Inside Your October Shipment

We're using almost all Sew HungryHippie materials—even down to the interfacing:

  • Soft Vinyl in Shocking Red
  •  Art Gallery Fabrics lining
  • SHH Hardware pack in silver
  • SHH Zippers and pulls
  • White marine vinyl for the fangs (not my vinyl, we brought in another supplier for this)
  • Red woven 1" seat belt webbing for the wrist strap 14" length
  • Sewhungryhippie woven interfacing
  • Pellon fusible fleece
  • Ouija board mints to keep you focused
  • Printed pattern with pattern pieces = REALLY IMPORTANT: if you are buying Kim's PDF pattern rather than the printed pattern, the numerical steps are DIFFERENT. My Video tutorial is based on the PRINTED PATTERN. Please do not email me about this, it was not in my control. Either disregard the numbers of the steps and follow along with me, or buy her printed pattern and follow along (if you are NOT in my Hippie Makers Club).
