This hack is how to add a luggage sleeve to an already-made bag-- no it's not perfect, and no it's not the "proper" way to add a sleeve.... it's a work around.
The PROPER way is to add the sleeve BEFORE constructing the entire bag--- just an FYI. But that isn't always an option.
I like to share some techniques that I personally have used because if you're in a bind, you can always just "make it work". That's the power of being a Sewist!
I prefer to use foam interfacing in my sleeve so it has oomph. You certainly don't have to, it's your choice.
