How to Wash Your Bags

Why is it important to wash your bags?

Keeping your bags clean is essential for maintaining their longevity and preventing the buildup of dirt, bacteria, and odors. Regular washing not only helps to extend the lifespan of your bags but also ensures that they remain hygienic and fresh.

Here is the video tutorial chat if you wish to view.

How to wash your bags:

1. Empty the bag: Remove all items from the bag and shake out any loose debris.

2. Check for removable parts: Some bags have removable straps or inserts. If possible, detach these parts before washing.

3. Use the gentle cycle: Place the bag in a pillowcase to protect it during washing. Select the gentle cycle and wash with cold water.

4. Use a mild detergent: Add a small amount of mild detergent to the washing machine. Avoid using bleach or harsh chemicals that can damage the bag.

5. Air dry: After washing, reshape the bag and lay it flat to dry. You want to avoid hanging it to dry as this can cause the weight of the wet bag to potentially stretch the bag out of shape. You will need to allow the exterior to dry, then turn it so the lining is right sides out, and lay it flat to dry again.

6. Drying: Once the bag is dry, you can place it into the dryer, inside the pillow case, on no heat for a few minutes, to help "fluff" it back up. NOTE - If your dryer does not have the setting, please do not use the dryer!

7. Press you bag: Just like you did when you first made the bag, give the bag a good press to help get it back into shape... it deserves the extra love!

Remember, proper care and maintenance will help keep your bags looking great and ensure their longevity. =D
