Here is the Modern Clementine Quilt PDF pattern, if you fancy a quick piecing top with big impact. I think it would look fab in prints as much as it does in solids. Approximate size is 65" x 65" - a "quilt at home on your machine" size.
This quilt features Kona fabrics throughout- one layer cake in Clementine and one layer cake in snow for the front. You will need 2 yards approx for sashing and borders in snow, and 2 yards of 108" backing material. There will be leftover fabric for table runner projects or whatever you dream up.

I just adore the backing fabric- it's called Grid in Carrot designed by Carolyn Friedlander.
It is so soft, and just the right amount of color/space for the eyes to rest.

The PDF gives all measurements and layouts, see excerpts below.

No time to sew?
This Modern Clementine sample quilt is for sale in my Etsy shop.
If you make this quilt, I'd love it if you'd tag me on IG or Pin it.

Can you believe it's JULY?!
Where does the time go?
Here are a few things you may want to take a peek at:
1. Mindfulness for Kids 8 week program (free!) by Deepak Chopra
I seriously love Deepak, I listen to him all the time on my phone to help me center and calm by inner b*tch. She takes some taming I tell you. LOL I have this mantra- to *not* feel bad about myself when I have my b*tchy thoughts-but to recognize them for what they are, and then dismiss them. Usually it's Ego, annoyance, and/or impatience. If there is one thing I hope I teach my children, it's the ability to remain calm in the storm.
That's power.

I must be in for a hell-uva change then, because chaos is everywhere ... bahaha!
Like probably everyone, I try to make good choices when eating.
It mostly doesn't happen but I like to think positive so Hey!
"Just a few meals away from the modern American diet, and you'll start to feel benefits like better energy and a more stable mood," explains Dr. Ramsey. "The moment you make a better food choice you are instantly building a better brain."

3. Michaels craft shop is having a major summer sale- check their website for coupons that you can send via text to your phone- so easy!
I just bought this rainbow drawer thingy and organized my shipping supplies and birthday party decor. It's made me happier than a bird with a french fry.
I know one doesn't "need a reason" to go to Michael's - but save some money? Hells yeah I'm in!

And.... if you're looking for stuff to do with the kids, try Creative Bug a really fun website with loads of classes.
They have so many different creative projects with full video instruction, some just minutes long-- that we've been trying out here. I love it!
This is next on my list of things to do, Heather's Arrow Block. Aren't her color choices unexpected and striking?!

Nobody paid me to say all that mess.
Just sayin'.
Now let's go have some FUN!
