Companion Carpet Bag KIT w frame
This kit is to make the Mrs H Companion Carpet Bag as shown in the photos. I made this bag (size large) in a couple of hours with the following materials:
1 roll of microfiber Teal Cork 18" x 56" (contrast ) *I used cork for my straps too
1 YD Ruby Star canvas leopards in blue (main fabric)
1 YD Ruby Star Geo in green (lining and inside pockets)
1 12" frame
1 magnetic snap
1 package foam stabilizer -- you only need this on the canvas parts not on the cork
2 YDS SF101 fusible interfacing for lining and outside pocket pieces
1 section of 10" rainbow mint #5 zipper (pattern calls for #3 for pockets but I used #5 size)
1 paper pattern Mrs H Companion Carpet Bag
I did not use a plastic base, anchor straps, or bag feet on my sample. I find it works without these items. If you'd like to add bag feet, we stock some here.

Hello! We ship Monday - Friday. On US Federal Holidays no mail moves - you *may* see a label print, but it will leave the next mailing day. If we take a short break for vacation, it is announced ahead of time on all social media channels and in the newsletter. Are you signed up for my emails? They often contain treasures!
Orders will ship within 72 hrs. Super huge orders can take 3-5 days (these are usually wholesale orders and probably don't pertain to you).
PRE ORDERS ship as stated in the listing -- usually these take some time to arrive. IF YOU COMBINE in stock items with a preorder they will ship TOGETHER at one time. Make a separate order if you need in-stock items sooner. Thanks!!
We ship USPS First class mail and Priority Mail always, never ground. We ship UPS if you choose UPS, OR if it's more economical and faster than USPS.
We DO ship to Canada through USPS or UPS if you choose it. We do NOT cover import fees. It is worth an email if you're concerned about the cost, before placing your order. I will weigh and estimate cost before processing.
Local pick up is an option! Our store is located at 4860 Larson Beach Rd in McFarland, WI. We are open Wednesdays and Saturdays 12-4.

Vinyl is usually rolled and either wrapped in tissue or a protective bag, and sent that way. Some vinyl (soft metallic and moonglow for example) can be folded without causing damage, you can opt to iron it from the back side as well. In any case, if your vinyl arrives with wrinkles you can simply place it in the sunshine OR use a hair dryer to warm it flat again, or iron it (wrong side only). If you think your vinyl is damaged, please email me and I will take care of you. 😊
**Soft metallic vinyl, Stardust, croc, and Moonglow vinyl CAN be ironed from the wrong side. See my Guide for Sewing Vinyl for more info.
