This is a paper pattern by Linds Handmade that will be mailed to you.
This is a confident beginner pattern that does require the sewer to have a general familiarity with bag-making and sewing terms.
Specs: it is 7 1/2" x 6"h x 1"d. It uses a 7 1/2" bar clasp closure, has 2 interior zipper pockets, and 6 spacious interior card slots (that can easily be doubled up). Included in the instructions is how to add D ring side connectors to turn this clutch into a purse as well.
Materials & Supplies:
- 2 sq ft of leather (no thicker than 2-2.5oz) or 1 roll vinyl/cork or a fat quarter of fabric for exterior
- 2 sq ft of leather (no thicker than 2-2.5oz) or 1 roll vinyl/cork or a fat quarter of fabric for lining
- 7⅜”w x 14”h accent fabric (needed for pocket lining if using vinyl/cork/leather inside and out)
- ½ yard of 45” wide woven interfacing* (SF101)
- ⅓ yard of 20” Decovil heavy or Peltex 71F
- (1) 7½” bar clasp wallet closure -- frame are stocked here.
- (2) 8” #3 zippers
- ⅛” double-sided tape
- FrayCheck ™ (*optional for use with fabric)
- Fabric glue or Loctite® permanent glue
- Phillips #0 screwdriver
- Loctite® Threadlocker Blue 242 (*optional for screws)
- (1) set strap clip with D ring (*optional to add strap)
- (1) 44”-47” metal purse chain strap (*optional)
- 10”w x 7”h piece of heat transfer vinyl (*optional if using vinyl/cork/leather)

Hello! We ship Monday - Friday. On US Federal Holidays no mail moves - you *may* see a label print, but it will leave the next mailing day. If we take a short break for vacation, it is announced ahead of time on all social media channels and in the newsletter. Are you signed up for my emails? They often contain treasures!
Orders will ship within 72 hrs. Super huge orders can take 3-5 days (these are usually wholesale orders and probably don't pertain to you).
PRE ORDERS ship as stated in the listing -- usually these take some time to arrive. IF YOU COMBINE in stock items with a preorder they will ship TOGETHER at one time. Make a separate order if you need in-stock items sooner. Thanks!!
We ship USPS First class mail and Priority Mail always, never ground. We ship UPS if you choose UPS, OR if it's more economical and faster than USPS.
We DO ship to Canada through USPS or UPS if you choose it. We do NOT cover import fees. It is worth an email if you're concerned about the cost, before placing your order. I will weigh and estimate cost before processing.
Local pick up is an option! Our store is located at 4860 Larson Beach Rd in McFarland, WI. We are open Wednesdays and Saturdays 12-4.

Vinyl is usually rolled and either wrapped in tissue or a protective bag, and sent that way. Some vinyl (soft metallic and moonglow for example) can be folded without causing damage, you can opt to iron it from the back side as well. In any case, if your vinyl arrives with wrinkles you can simply place it in the sunshine OR use a hair dryer to warm it flat again, or iron it (wrong side only). If you think your vinyl is damaged, please email me and I will take care of you. 😊
**Soft metallic vinyl, Stardust, croc, and Moonglow vinyl CAN be ironed from the wrong side. See my Guide for Sewing Vinyl for more info.
