Sewable PAPER!

February 04, 2020

Sewable PAPER!
Make a metallic paper pencil case easily with this strong and sturdy (but THIN) sewable paper. It's so fun!

More eco-friendly than other materials (including cotton) - this recycled paper is made into sheets that are easily cut to size.

I sewed this pencil case using my Bernina 1008 home sewing machine with universal needle. NO special tools at all other than using my zipper foot when applying the zipper.

Sewable Paper available in metallic silver here.

Cut two exterior paper pieces 12" wide x 6" tall
Cut two lining pieces in quilting cotton 12 x 6
Cut zipper 11" long
Cut two fabric zipper tabs (2"x3")

Follow along with video. :D
